About us – an emigrant family with a language mission

Our history

We have emigrated twice. At the counter, on the bus, at the doctor's, we quickly realised that in everyday life, speaking counts, not cramming. Fascinated by the ideas of Vera F. Birkenbihl, we developed our own approach suitable for everyday use – listening and understanding, repeating, speaking freely – and expanded it for ourselves and our family. This is how we built up our English and Italian (and some other languages in the family): briefly, regularly, practically.
